Fundamental Questions is a book that dares to ask the harder questions about fundamentalism, and the oft-held, not so often debated question of biblical perfection. Written by an ex-evangelist who, after ten years of study and preparation for the ministry, began to ask some harder questions that rocked the foundation of his faith. The first part of the book gives a personal view of those who believe in the perfection of Scripture, and why denying their perfection is much larger than admitting some mistakes in the holy word. The second part presents some of those questions, which when followed to their end, present a completely biblical challenge to the notion of inerrancy. Lastly, the book offers some helpful advice to those who are seeking to walk a new path. This is a great book for those who are asking questions themselves, and a good reference work for those trying to understand why fundamentalists are so rigid in their belief that the bible is the perfect word of God.
