Reseña del libro "Happy Ever After: My final journey with Gone Fishing"

Sunday Times bestselling author Ted the Dog reflects on retirement and life beyond the cameras, as his time on Mortimer and Whitehouse- Gone Fishing comes to an end and he continues his adventures from a rather more celestial location.

'My book is all about focusing on the positives of getting older and how to make the very best of it, recognising we are now in charge, we are the top dogs and we're not taking any nonsense.'

Ted loved his time on Gone Fishing, but knew it couldn't last forever. Ever practical, he wanted to be fully prepared for the gap it was going to leave in his life. It wasn't just about keeping his mind and body busy. He wanted to be useful.

With fluctuating degrees of success, he investigates working for the military, delivering post for Royal Mail, helping out at a care home and volunteering at the animal shelter which rescued him when he was abandoned as a puppy.

Dogs and humans may age at different paces, but the undeniable truth is that none of us are getting any younger. Following Ted's example, we can all learn how to embrace the future, accept new challenges, and treasure the time we have.
