Reseña del libro "Having Been There: A Memoir (en Inglés)"

This is the memoir of a European diplomat who served in hot spots such as Iran and Bosnia-Herzegovina. More than a recollection of his professional life (1973-2011), this book reflects his personal development which is marked by some adventures and non-conformist exploits. Reflections on the outstanding challenges that the world faces in international relations run parallel to an assessment of lessons learned as a simple human being, with the family circle as the primary audience. The hint in the title to Jerzy Kozinski's book 'Being There' and to the movie starring Peter Sellers illustrates the spirit in which these memoirs were conceived.
