This book is about achievements in India in ancient times and the evidence to debunk the theory that there was any Aryan invasion in 1500 BC. By reason of the knowledge of ancient Indians and their great literature of profound value they were able to lead the rest of the world both spiritually and in material culture. The Indus Valley Civilisation was ahead of any other civilisation in the entire world. Indians excelled in the sciences, medicine, mathematics, astronomy and in other areas such as metallurgy, shipbuilding and cotton fabrics which they used to generate wealth for their well-being. India became the richest country in the world. This wealth attracted plunderers from other countries culminating with the arrival of the British whose main objective was to use their imperial policies to transfer the wealth to Britain. When the British left in 1947, India became one of the poorest countries in the world. The greatness of India in the past has been aptly portrayed by Prof. Heeren in these words: "India is the source from which not only the rest of Asia but the whole Western World derived their knowledge and their religion."
