For each song you will find a reliable Spanish version (note that many translations on the Internet are inaccurate), a reliable translation and notes on the essentials: explanations of the grammar, verb tenses, and idioms plus interesting information on the composer, the recording artist/s, and the historical background and cultural underpinning of each song."Love Songs" was written to show readers the beauty and variety of these songs. It was also written for students of Spanish who wish to improve their accent, immerse themselves in the poetic rhythms of Spanish, expand their vocabulary and gain insight into Latin ways of seeing and expressing love. If you teach Spanish you will find the eleven pages of teaching suggestions useful.
