Reseña del libro "On Vacation (en Inglés)"

Many of the poems in On Vacation were written from the nowhere-space of the hospital room, separated from everyday life by a double-paned window. There are nurses, meal trays, Nicorettes. Following the speaker into and back out of the hospital, these poems consider the reality—and in many ways fiction—of recovery. What do we bring back from “Vacation”? The shadow of experience looms. In her sophomore collection of poems, Parker writes from a feeling of existing outside of daily life.

New poetry from Fawn Parker, author of the award-winning Soft Inheritance, winner of the JM Abraham Atlantic Book Award and the Fiddlehead Poetry Book Prize.
