This book explores a little of the impact on the lives of the family, in a way designed to be helpful and non-threatening to children who may share a similar experience. The Director of Nephrology at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia, described the book saying "I am sure you will find this book helpful when you talk about renal failure and its treatment with children, if it is something that you or your family have to cope with now or in the fiuture." Written by a nurse and doctor in order to help explain to their own children, this book will help families talk about some of the issues around renal dialysis.
