Removable complete denture is one of the most common treatment modalities for completely edentulous patients. The overall success of complete denture therapy depends on patient's comfort and acceptance of the dentures. Even though complete care is taken during fabrication procedures, there is still a wide spectrum of problems associated with denture placement and dental literature is replete with such issues and problems faced by patients, consequent to denture insertion. If these complaints are not addressed properly it will lead to patient disappointment and ultimately removable dental prostheses failure.
