Mick Herron es un escritor británico nacido en Newcastle el 11 de julio de 1963. Estudió Inglés en el Balliol College de Oxford y ha trabajado como editor y escritor de ficción. Es reconocido por sus novelas de espionaje, especialmente la serie "Slough House", que ha sido adaptada a una serie de televisión en Apple TV+ con Gary Oldman en el papel principal. Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentran "Down Cemetery Road" (2003), "Reconstructing Amelia" (2013) y "The Secret Hours" (2022). La serie "Slough House" incluye títulos como "Dead Lions" (2013), "Real Tigers" (2016) y "Spook Street" (2017). Herron ha recibido varios premios, incluyendo el CWA Gold Dagger por "Dead Lions".
