Five thousand years ago, the lowest form of "civilized" State, called here the Bossy People Rule, arose in response to the Brutality, Chaos, Conflict, Deprivation, Savagery and Barbarism of competing tribalism. For centuries, thoughtful teachers and insightful preachers admonished humanity to rise to higher levels of civilization, but too few did unto others as they would be done unto, and even fewer loved neighbors as self. In the 18th century, political philosophers proposed new solutions. Socialist theorists sought to take power away from conservative authoritarians and give it to themselves, so that they could set everything aright, causing the current Left versus Right divide. Democratic republicans sought to eliminate authoritarian power altogether by establishing Liberty through limited government. Well intentioned though they were, these imperfect institutions allowed slavery, Communism, and Fascism to flourish.It is now the 21st century. Devotees of the Post-modern State religion, Statism, unwittingly support the use of fraud and force to exalt the false god of Government as the one true way to meet human needs. This dogma is unjustified!Some needs are best met by the State, but other needs can be met by “good people” voluntarily joining together in world-wide private clubs, bringing about an Equitable and Merciful Society. This is the age of the Internet! Post-Boomer generations could be the most equitable, merciful, and liberating of all! Or the bossiest! Decide it! Abide It!
