Vive en Bedfordshire, Reino Unido, junto a su familia y sus dos gatos rescatados. Escribe historias desde niña y siempre soñó con convertirse en autora. Sin embargo, alcanzar ese sueño le tomó 15 años de intentos antes de publicar su primer libro, Professor McQuark and the Oojamaflip, en 2015.

Desde entonces, ha publicado más de 40 libros infantiles, entre álbumes ilustrados, libros interactivos, no ficción y literatura middle grade. Una de sus obras, The Snowflake Mistake, fue incluida en el programa infantil CBeebies Bedtime Stories. Su trayectoria es también la inspiración detrás de un blog en el que comparte consejos y recursos para otros escritores de literatura infantil.
