"Stripes" is a reflection of child's innocent and magical world free of fear, where all the dreams come true. The story begins as Gianni and his family move in to a small town. Their house is old, empty and painted white, except for Gianni's room where there is a wall covered with colorful stripes. As Gianni discovers the very first night, upon touching any of the stripes, he can move to the other side filled with pure and joyful magic. He finds friends who are also new to the neighborhood and have the striped wall in their new bedrooms. Gianni becomes best friend with Paulo, a boy from the same class. Both boys experience delicious foods, magic carpet ride all over the world, a tree house adventure, water slide rides, skateboarding around the moon craters, Mount Everest climb, magical forest and a dream school, where studying is a pure fun and pleasure. Every day Gianni and Paulo touch a different color stripe. One day the magic ends as the walls are painted white by the parents. The boys must face the real world and they discover it is up to them to continue the magic and live the best life ever!
