The Adventures of Bo and Mr. Quillery. Book 3: The Stolen Necklace (en Inglés) - Andrew K Johnston

A stolen treasure. A treacherous journey. A kingdom of lizards.

In the peaceful Riverdill Lands, farm sheriffs Bo (a brave Great Pyrenees) and Mr. Quillery (a clever bobwhite quail) have sworn to protect the home of Sage and Darlin' Riverdill. But when a mysterious hooded thief slips into the vault and steals Darlin's precious glowing moonlight necklace, the duo must embark on their most daring mission yet.

Their search for the missing heirloom leads them far beyond the safety of the farm, across murky marshes and twisting waterways, straight into the bustling lizard kingdom of Baskstone. There, they discover the glowing necklace has fallen into the claws of the greedy and powerful Lord Grokk.

Outnumbered and in enemy territory, Bo and Mr. Quillery must team up with Silicia-a talented but troubled builder-to engineer a clever plan to outwit the ruler. But retrieving the necklace and saving the day will require more than just bravery and brains; it will take the incredible, unexpected power of forgiveness.

Perfect for young readers (Grades 1-4), Book 3: The Stolen Necklace is a heartwarming and humorous adventure filled with illustrations on nearly every page. It delivers the rich, character-building depth of The Chronicles of Narnia and The Green Ember, sprinkled with the laugh-out-loud charm of Hank the Cowdog.
