John Green (Indianápolis, Indiana, 1977) es uno de los autores más influyentes de la literatura juvenil contemporánea. Ha conquistado a millones de lectores con su capacidad para retratar las emociones crudas de la adolescencia. Nació en Indiana y fue criado entre varios estados estadounidenses. Su propia juventud, marcada por el bullying y el trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo, lo llevó a considerar el sacerdocio, lo que se refleja en la profundidad psicológica de sus obras.
