Jules Feiffer (nacido el 26 de enero de 1929 en Nueva York) es un reconocido ilustrador, caricaturista, guionista y autor estadounidense. Su carrera comenzó en la década de 1940 como asistente de Will Eisner en la serie de cómics The Spirit, donde desarrolló sus habilidades narrativas y gráficas. Sin embargo, Feiffer alcanzó fama internacional con su tira cómica satírica Feiffer, publicada por primera vez en The Village Voice en 1956. Con un estilo gráfico expresivo y minimalista, sus tiras abordaban temas políticos, sociales y psicológicos con humor agudo y crítica mordaz.

En 1986 ganó el prestigioso Premio Pulitzer por caricatura editorial, consolidando su influencia en el ámbito del cómic político y literario. También ha incursionado en el cine y el teatro, escribiendo guiones como el de Carnal Knowledge (1971), dirigido por Mike Nichols, y varias obras teatrales.
