Jimmy Jameson, free-minded Texas fourth-grader of the Old School, says that if you get your panties in a twist over a few stinkin' words like that, then y'all can't hang out with him and his tough-ass buddies...nor pet his dogs, either. He will not kowtow to social convention nor follow all boxed-and-packaged standards of conduct. Jimmy further says that if you can't take the heat, get off the street. In fact, he'll double-dare you to meet him out behind Dairy Queen after school to kick your butt if you're gonna be like that. But if you apologize to him about your cognitive distortions, he'll buy you an ice cream cone dipped in chocolate and tell you the school scandals of the week...and maybe even which girls will kiss you if you take them to the Saturday afternoon matinee at the Bowie Theatre and buy them popcorn and candy and a Coke.
