In the subterranean tunnels under the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem the Knights Templar find an urn containing the blade of the Lance of Longinus with a Prophesy written on a goat skin velum. The Prophesy is so explosive that the Grand Master decides to conceal it from the Roman Church and so begins an amazing journey to the Templar commandery in Paris. Then in 1306 with relations deteriorating between the Templars and the French king the relics are shipped together with the Templar treasure to Scotland and then on to a Cistercian monastery in Ireland where they lie dormant in a crypt until 1938. The crypt is broken into and the lance blade is stolen. Thus setting off a chain of murderous events, an intimate affair with a beautiful female assassin, and diplomatic treachery throughout Ulster and Europe, intertwining the Roman Catholic Church, the IRA, the Loyal Orange Order, the German Gestapo and the Russian Mafia. Who will command the divine power of the relic? Will be Prophesy be fulfilled?
