After losing longtime friend, and fellow inmate, John, to cancer, Buck had to deal with yet another loss of companionship when Avionce-another fellow inmate-is released from prison. Buck then decides to join the prison's 'Pen Pal' program to pass the time, and befriends Lucinda McCall. Together, the pair develops a genuine friendship which soon leads to so much more.
