A Science Fiction Story about The San Diego Floating Airport. Decades ago three professors from the University of California San Diego had proposed a floating airport for San Diego. After more than a Billion dollars spent in studies there was still no prospect for a new San Diego Airport location. Caution: these books are written for educated people who enjoy science, astronomy, cosmology, aquaculture, bioengineering, surfing, sailing and hard science. The vocabulary is college level and you will need to look words and concepts up on line. The writer is a retired systems engineer so the concepts are limited to his education level (MBA in Computer Information Systems). If you want to read a story that challenges your vocabulary, and knowledge while incorporating a story of human survival in the future then this is the series for you! Then came a new method of construction blending 3D printing and concrete laying which made the concept far more achievable and cost effective. The Chairman of the Airport Authority, Sandy Douglas, presented the old concept reinvigorated with this new technology but the county's response was still lukewarm. That is, until Global Warming, sea level rise caused FEMA to sponsor the San Diego Floating Airport project.
