(Saronno, 1963) es docente de química en el Departamento de Ciencia y Alta Tecnología de la Università degli Studi dell’Insubria en Como, donde también lleva a cabo actividades didácticas y de investigación. Ha publicado cerca de setenta trabajos científicos en periódicos y revistas internacionales. Como divulgador científico colabora con numerosos diarios, radios y televisiones. En la revista Le Scienze mantiene la columna mensual «Pentole e provette» y ha creado el popular blog «Scienza in cucina». En 2015 Bressanini fue comisario de la exposición dedicada a la ciencia de la comida, que tuvo lugar en el Museo de Historia Natural de Milán.
