The trees interact with each other as they ponder their meaning and purpose of life. The personification of trees gives the reader a new vantage point in viewing the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the grace of God in the redemption of mankind.. Some things made of wood that are meaningful to mankind include: Noah's ark, the Ark of the Covenant, and the cross of the Son of God. Trees provide shade, shelter, timber for construction, fuel for cooking, fruit for food, furniture, firewood for heating, and many other things. Audiences of every age will enjoy this story.
