For the last twenty years the notebooks of songs and poetry have been stacking up in the dusty corners of the recording studio, with the hope of eventually making their way onto an album. After a good deal of page flipping and minor editing I'm thrilled/relieved to finally release them into the wild as a single volume of literature. My lifelong musical mission has been to express myself through multiple genres, with the hope of breaking down the walls of genre itself. I believe there is only good music and bad music. These songs bounce from rock to rap, country and blues, to traditional. Written by a wild and angry young man who grows into a "regular" type of guy with an amazing wife and three wild young men, running around the house. Appearing as complete works on albums like "Sketches of San Diego" and the "Country Rockin' Rebels", to half made demos and snippets of rhyme, this book spans the spectrum of my musical vision in words.
