Unsound magazine was published from 1983-1987. Before the inception of the internet and on the brink of the desktop publishing revolution, Unsound created a forum for cutting edge musicians and artists to connect. Inspired by OP magazine from Olympia, Washington and a reaction against the narrow mindedness of Re/Search, Unsound attempted to create an open forum, within the pages bands, artists and writers could post profiles, publish articles, interviews and reviews.
