The story deals with topics that many readers may be facing, such as entrepreneur success and failure, unexpected accidents, loss of jobs, scam, hurricane destruction, suicide, and death. There are so many twists to the story that the reader wonders if anything good will ever happen to this family or they may be left homeless. David and his wife Sally, the main characters, manage to work and stay together through all the cruel events that they are forced to face. It becomes obvious that David is a creative and persistent leading character who manages to new ways to get the family back on their feet. The story can be an inspiration and encouragement for those struggling in life and who hope to improve their opportunities. Creativity and persistence are the two qualities that often make the difference for helping us be successful, and without these qualities, people can succumb to depression and giving up.
