The African Mask coloring book was my father's lifelong dream, after he passed away I just wanted to have his book published in his memory. My father James Badhouse, was born Alfred Ryals, in Jacksonville Florida. He moved to Los Angeles California in the mid-1980s he spent a lot of time on the beaches playing the bongos, drawing pictures for passer Byers and making sculptures, African mask sculptures, and African themed walking canes, selling them on the beaches in California. His love and passion for the visual Arts is evident in his works, his sculptures his paintings his drawings and also in this coloring book he not only had a passion for art but had a passion for Learning and teaching people the beauty of art by creating and understanding art as a self-expression and a hobby.
