Band Of Seven is a story that all readers who dare to pick up will be able to relate to, and there is a character for everyone. The writing is extremely visual, the characters are reflections of real people, and the themes are appropriate for the time we live in. it portrays the struggle that we as people are forced to go through everyday because we cannot change our skin color, our choices and/or our natural God given talents. This book shows how we are wrongfully "taken care of" and how repeatedly, we are not heard and when we attempt to be heard we're automatically wrong. Band Of Seven is filled with metaphors, parallels, and symbols and each one represents a universal desire, or indirectly, a respective historical figure. Band Of Seven is not just a book, but a movement.
