Reseña del libro "Eastwood Nottinghamshire: Times past and present (en Inglés)"
What is there to say about Eastwood? Well, there is quite a lot say and see and do, with an ever-increasing number of community groups and healthy activities going on, around and about, this wonderfully, gritty old Heritage Town and it's surrounding villages. However this book was not meant to be written, or read, as a student's thesis for a university degree, but more of a celebration of Eastwood, the north Notts and Derbyshire countryside, and its' many talented sons and daughters, both past and present. In effect, it is a labour of love, garnered by the author over four decades of living, bringing up a family, and working amongst the varied and forthright residents. Inevitably there will be omissions, people and places and activities equally deserving of a mention, but I hope you will enjoy this brief snapshot of the kind of place and people who inhabit this area, and that you will come back to sample more.
