This book is the English version of the story that, with the title "De Gorrimanos a Cerdipiés" was published in 2008 in this editorial, with a second edition in 2013. The story was initially conceived for pre-teen children studying Spanish. Hence, in the two previous editions there were an unusually high number of footnotes (more than a hundred) whose mission was to explain the meaning of some words and expressions that would probably be unfamiliar to most children who read it. In the translation presented here, the content of the text is maintained, as well as images, although the text has undergone some modifications, especially due to the elimination of almost all of the footnotes and the addition of a set of questions on related scientific aspects.
