By developing an understanding of social relations within the structured process of housing provision, the author argues that action and the specific form of housing provision can be better understood. By using pre-sale housing in Taiwan as a positive example, the author shows how housing production and consumption are closely related and structured through agents' purposive interaction, and how agents are benefited through their relations.
