Reseña del libro "How I Discovered The Secret of Success In The Bible: An Unusual Self-Help Book by a World Record Life Insurance Salesman (en Inglés)"

In this book, written in 1961, Clinton Davidson tells of his rags-to-riches story and how to become successful through lessons discovered in the Bible. Clinton was only two years old when his alcoholic father committed suicide. After receiving only an 8th grade public education, Clinton attended James A. Harding's Potter Bible College in 1901 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He attributed much of his business success from early lessons he learned from James Harding. In 1923, Mr. Davidson coined the phrase "Estate Planning." He held the world record for the most life insurance sales over a seven year consecutive time period, was the president of three corporations, chairman of the board of six others, and originator of seven different bills relating to taxation presented before the United States Congressional Ways and Means Committee. He was the founder of Fiduciary Counsel, Inc., a firm which planned the estates of approximately 400 clients whose combined wealth amounted to over four billion dollars. He authored "This Week in Washington," a column that was carried in 900 newspapers across America. He was the benefactor of Camp Shiloh, a charity that has touched the lives of over 10,000 inner city youth since 1951. In the 1930's he played a critical part in raising money to save Harding College, named after his mentor, James A. Harding. In this autobiographical book first published by Fleming H. Revell Company, Clinton covers such topics as understanding human nature, getting people to believe in you, how to handle obstacles and how to get the decision you want. Throughout, Clinton stresses that even an ordinary person through hard, honest work, steadfastness and knowing everything there is to know about their product, service or idea, can ultimately succeed in business and in life.
