They claimed their recently purchased mountain in Cosby, Tennessee, and moved onto the rugged, undeveloped land. Hard work and trials deep in the hollow at the base of their mountain, where no one had lived for thirty years, was enough to make anyone run for civilization. But Arnold and Loretta felt the presence of God as they walked on the mountain God had called them to inhabit. It was with joy and expectation that Arnold and Loretta struggled with the undeveloped mountain and felt the presence of God as He walked the harsh mountain terrain with them. Arnold Stanfield surrendered his dream to God and then watched God perform miracles on a cold, treacherous, and void mountain.
