NOVEM PORTIS was used as the centerpiece for the 1999 movie: The Ninth Gate; directed by Roman Polanski and starring Johnny Depp. This rare book was alleged to grant the owner access to the supernatural powers of The Kingdom of Shadows (Hell). The text is in coded and encrypted Latin and the 413-page book contains nine medieval woodcut engravings that play a fundamental role in the process of summoning demonic forces. This book is the result of much research and a careful reconstruction and editing of the original text by Michael James Jaquish and it contains all nine original engravings shown in the movie. The spirit world holds many mysteries and this book is one of them. " Hola, No recomiendo comprar el libro. Compré el libro y el tiempo de llegada muy bien. No obstante, la calidad del libro para un precio tan elevado no se corresponden. El empastado es de calidad regular y el pentagrama que se observa en el frente, está hecho por computadora además que está cortado en las puntas, un burdo "copia y pega". Se observa también un empastado de copias simples por impresión de pésima calidad. Recomiendo ampliamente, no comprar el libro. Lo mejor, tal vez, imprimir la copia que circula por la red. Saludos. "
