Dr. McNamara earned his Ph.D. in sociology from Yale University and his master's degree in sociology and criminal justice from Southern Connecticut State University. He has served as a Senior Research Fellow for the National Strategy Information Center, the Policy Lab, the Policy Executive Research Forum in Washington, D.C., and the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation. A prolific author, Dr. McNamara has published more than 25 books.
