He is a graduate of Loyola University, in New Orleans, Louisiana, he completed the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLET-C) in Glynco, Georgia, he is a veteran of the United States Navy, where he was attached to the aircraft carrier USS AMERICA (CV-66) and was awarded Three Ribbons and Two Medals during his brief tour., Heretired from twenty-five years of public service, and is the owner of a small LLC in his resident State of Northwest Florida.
