Reseña del libro "The funniest joke about modern world: It is free and open !: Was modern world able to retain intact, the Enlightenment era values of uninhibited human (en Inglés)"

This is part-2 of our book series 'Is modern-democracy a fake-coin?'. Part-1 is already available at Amazon.com stores. This part-2 has eleven articles, each one handling a unique negative feature of modern world, seeking remedy through a 'reinvented democracy'. The only remedy is a 'reinvented democracy' because, world today is at its contemporary stage of progress, chiefly due to its all controlling political institution, ie. democracy. Polity is what give birth, define and control every other institution and its values and directions in modern society. Therefore, a new world-order, with genuine freedom to every man on the street, would be possible by thoroughly redefining and reinventing our leading political system- democracy. Bringing out of this book that delve deeply into various not yet noticed and recognized, philosophical and psychological aspects of modern world was so necessary because, there exists a general impression in the mainstream that, contemporary world is an absolutely free, liberal, open and progressive place ! Our age can see the deeper discords over the surface glitter and glory only when it come face to face with the deeper, almost hidden facts presented in the book. As the preface of the book has a description about each article, this description does not attempt to reveal much on the content. But, modern democratic states are shown at par with the totalitarian regimes in modern world, in the matter of the common 'fuel' both parties use in governance, ie. POWER ! Hence, while the openly declared 'closed' regimes such as that of the communists, autocrats and Kings suppress freedom and liberty openly, democratic regimes pretend to be 'free' and open, but at the citizens real 'experience' level, there is not much difference between his level of freedom with that of his counterpart at the other-side of the wall ! This is the gravest tragedy that this book attempts to expose. The last article has attempted to visualize and define what a true democracy must represent to people, freeing itself from its present symbolic and technical aspects, while giving centrality to its 'value' aspects. Today, democracy's value core has no takers, as such value core exactly tally with the spirit and values of the erstwhile European Enlightenment.
