In June 1951 the United States Army began publishing PS, The Preventive Maintenance Monthly comic book magazine. PS stands for "postscript" as the publication is a postscript to technical manuals. Corporal Will Eisner illustrated and created this series. He has won many awards and has published numerous comic books. The Preventive Maintenance Monthly is still in publication and has over 700 issues. This four part series of The Preventive Maintenance Monthly, magazine covers, coffee table books, feature the first 20 years of publication. Issues number 1 through 229, they were issued from June 1951 through December 1971. All issues are included and the collection is complete. Book 1---Issues 1-60 Book 2---Issues 61-120 Book 3---Issues 121-180 Book 4---Issues 181-229
